“The Last Leader of Jerusalem” February 26, 2017
Our world needs leaders to meet the challenges of our day. We need great leaders for our homes, for the church, and for the nation. In the absence of leaders submitted to God, each of these institutions will weaken and fail. is the final chapter before the destruction of Jerusalem. It is the episode before the season finale. In it, we see Jerusalem’s last chance for salvation and we see King Zedekiah turn away from that opportunity. Why did Zedekiah refuse this last opportunity for salvation? What does this say about his leadership? What does it teach us about the influence each of us has on the world around us? And what does it show us about God’s plan for leadership?
